Return of Crash Error on Mac (+ What happened to the App Store version??)

I'm back to getting a crash error every time I open Hedy on my M1 Mac. I'd seen this previously when I installed the beta version of the app a couple months ago, and then decided to switch back to the more stable App Store version, which resolved the error. Since then, the Mac desktop app suddenly disappeared from Apple's App Store and my existing installation forced me to install the direct-download app from Hedy's website in order to continue using it. So, I'm back to the crash error...
I'm wondering: what happened to the App Store Mac app? I never received any communications from the dev team about its disappearance. Are there plans for its eventual return?
I've attached a screenshot of the error dialog box that appears on launch, as well as copied and pasted the error details below.

Hi Mike Halliburton! I'm sorry about this issue. We retired the mac store version several months ago in favor of the dedicated Mac version that is a direct download from us (the version in the app store was the iPad version).
Could you do me a favor and shoot me a direct email at julian@hedy.bot so we can look into this error more and get the latest Mac app version up and running on your device?

Big shoutout to Julian Pscheid and the Hedy dev team. They sent me an updated version of the app within about 24 hours of posting that appears to have fully resolved the issue. I don't typically lean fanboy, but this might be the best example of fast, personalized tech support I've ever experienced. Wealth of gratitude for y'all.
