The export and import experience has been completely redesigned.

Full Account Data Export

JSON exports now capture everything in your Hedy account:

Sessions with full transcripts, summaries, and meeting minutes
Chat history and message counts
Custom vocabulary
Session contexts
Topics with all associated sessions
Highlights with quotes and AI insights
Todos and action items

You can export as a single JSON file or as a ZIP with separate files per session.

Account Migration

This makes it easy to migrate your complete data from one Hedy account to another. Export everything from your current account, sign into your new account, and import the file. This is especially useful if you need to switch to a new EU-region account for data residency.

Flexible Import

Import individual session files from multi-file exports, not just the full bundle
Backwards-compatible with older export formats
Duplicate detection automatically skips sessions that already exist in your account
Imported data syncs to the cloud automatically, so it appears across all your devices immediately
Topics are matched intelligently by name, so existing topics are reused rather than duplicated
