Could this also enable Omi to become “just a microphone” because Hedy’s on-device transcription is way better than Omi’s cloud transcription

Using AirPods on an iPhone or laptop and not having the ability to have Hedy run in the background to pick up the conversation is frustrating lol. Some meetings need to be private! I hope they implement this!

Google voice has been allowing users to record on calls for years now.

This could also extend to bluetooth connected microphones, right? I've thought about clipping microphones during in-person meetings to improve accuracy.
