Merging meetings

Sometimes we had to cut the recording, but ultimately we would like the assistant to answer questions knowing content from other meetings/records.
So it would be nice to:
- add past meetings as extra context for an ongoing meeting.
- merge multiple meetings together for post-processed discussions.

Merge existing sessions or create groups of existing sessions

At the moment, the pause function already exists. But if I want to take more pictures with HEDY between a real session (e.g. two day meeting), I have to end the session first. If it is not possible to continue a session after the end, there could be 2 different replacement solutions, although the second would also have further added value:
1) Merge existing sessions
2) Create groups from existing meetings
Both would have the same meaning: I can ask tasks and questions about a topic, i.e. either a group of meetings or it is a large session that has been brought together from several.
The group (No. 2) would even have the advantage that a topic comes from different projects, such as a meeting AND my personal notes.

Merge the current meeting section with other meeting sections

It would be great if there was a new feature that could merge the current meeting section with other meeting sections (e.g., these meetings are related, and the current meeting is a continuation of the previous sections).

Using Past Meetings as a Knowledge Base / Memory
Wil
Similar to how you can add files to a knowledge base, what if past meetings were treated in the same way? Having the option to include past meetings in a QA session would allow Hedy to understand past context a bit more as often times the same issues or topics come up over the course of several meetings.
Pulling insights, key points, and reminders from the past would be be beneficial. This is especially true when using Hedy as a coach or to improve communication. It would be able to refer back to conversations and have a more advanced capability than just what happened 30 min ago.
This also ties into memory capabilities and the ability to remember things, without prompting, about people or projects.
Thanks!

I think this would be a very important improvement. For me, it is also common to have different sessions on the same topic on different days. And it would be great to have all the information grouped and updated in a single entry.

Julian Pscheid i just came across this exact scenario. For whatever the reason, my session was stopped so i just started a new session. Since it's the same meeting, I do wish I can merge these two.

I like the idea of linking past meetings to a current meeting to pull in their context. We'll think this (and the merge idea) through on our end!

Julian Pscheid hank you for the reply.
We can have 3 situations :
- continue session: any closed session can be re-opened and you can therefore expand the existing script
- follow-up session: it will be linked to a closed session but will stay independent. Old sessions are used as context. Hedy can say "in the second meeting of 2 December we raised the point that..."
- merging multiple closed sessions into a single script. In case we forgot to use the continue session.

Sebastien R Awesome, thank you for helping to break this down!

Julian Pscheid is there an update? I had Hedy stop recording a long meeting 3 times today and now have 3 separate meetings which should have been one. The feature would be super helpful!!
Julian Pscheid
Patrick Oh no! Sorry to hear it stopped recording your meeting multiple times, that's not good. Anything you are aware of that would have made Hedy stop? Are you on Android or iOS?
For your use case, I assume you'd prefer to be able to "continue" a previous session? This is something we can definitely prioritize in the upcoming development window.
Darren
Julian Pscheid Continue for a broken recording session sounds like a great option. I'd still need merge for those that broke in two from the past, but I like that idea too!
