Dear Hedy Team,
I'm writing to provide comprehensive feedback on my experience using the Hedy app, specifically version HedySetup-2.8.5-signed. While the core concept of Hedy is promising, I've encountered several critical limitations that significantly impact its usability and effectiveness.
My primary concern is the disabled chat functionality during live sessions on Windows. The message displayed, 'Windows Compatibility Mode: Chat is temporarily disabled during live sessions on Windows. Please try again after the session ends,' creates a major barrier to real-time interaction and collaboration. This prevents immediate questions, real-time note-taking, and dynamic discussion, which are all vital for productive live sessions.
Furthermore, despite having the session context configured, Hedy fails to provide automatic feedback during an active recording session. This means that even with all settings in place, the app does not offer any real-time insights or assistance as the session progresses, which is a core expectation for a tool designed to aid in meetings.
Beyond these issues, I've identified several other significant shortcomings:
No Functionality to Listen to Meeting Audio: There is currently no feature to listen to the audio of recorded meetings within the application. This makes reviewing sessions cumbersome and limits the utility of the recorded content.
Very Low Quality Russian Transcription: For meetings conducted in Russian, the transcription quality is exceptionally poor. A large portion of the conversations is either not transcribed at all or is heavily inaccurate, rendering the transcripts largely useless for review or analysis.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to seeing significant improvements.
